2022 Positions Available
Fallers and Danger Tree Assessors:
· Fallers: accepted tickets – BC Forest Safety Council, the Canadian Association of Geophysical Contractors, or BC Wildfire Service
· Danger Tree Assessors: UNBC WDTA Wildland Fire Safety Certification
Type 3 Wildfire Personnel:
· Physical fitness test passing grade
· Certification: S100 Basic Fire Suppression and Safety; S185 Fire Entrapment Avoidance
· First aid ticket – Occupational First Aid Level One with Transportation Endorsement
· WHMIS
Type 2 Wildfire Personnel:
· In addition to the requirements of the Type 3 crews, Type 2 personnel also require:
