For fieldwork we prefer to hire forest technologists and those who have technical training related to forestry. Experience working in the bush is a definite asset (e.g. tree planting, surveying, brushing, falling). Orienteering expertise such as compassing, mapping, map reading, and GPS experience is highly valued.
